About Wicomm Construction

About Us

About us! Wicomm Construction was originally started as a small Electrical Contractor in January 2004. In May 2005 James Hite and Mark Blakeslee teamed up to create a company that met the needs of the Wireless Communication Industry. The birth of Wicomm Construction meant that the needs of Hands-on, Cost Effective, and On-Time Delivery of Projects could be met. During 2006 Wicomm Construction experienced huge growth, but soon it was realized that the growth had the potential to compromise quality.

In 2007 the company was scaled back to a level that the management could continue the “Hands-on” approach. This ensured that the product delivered to the customer has been built and approved by the management prior to the delivery to the customer.

In 2008 a division was formed to introduce the Public Works Sector to this same Construction technique that proved successful with our other markets. At the end of 2008 Mark left the company to follow is ambitions in other business opportunities.

Wicomm continues to operate as before and looks forward to helping you develop and implement solutions for your construction needs. Continuing to strive to set the mark in all of its target markets. It is our goal to meet all our customers expectations or we are not meeting ours. We continue to strive to be better and raise the expectations of our customers.

About Wicomm & Who We Are

Wicomm Construction continues to strive to set the mark in all of its target markets. It is our goal to meet all our customers expectations or we are not meeting ours.

James Hite received his start in the Construction Industry through his father an Electrician in 1987. Over the years James has gained experience in multiple trades. In 2000 James received his first taste of the Communications Industry while Co-managing a $5M + project for the California Department of Forestry. In 2001 he dedicated his interests solely to the Wireless Industry, and has built for many carriers in several states. In 2004 he started James Hite Electric as a way to stay up to date with the ever changing electrical industry. Soon the name was changed to reflect James’ personal growth and desire to use the techniques he has learned to the fullest.

Today James continues to be hands on in all aspects of the day to day operations.
